Our family is growing!!!

We are so excited to announce that in October we will have a brand new niece or nephew!! My sister, Kerri and her husband, Derek are expecting their first child. We could not be more excited for them!! Kerri came to Alabama the night before Ansley's birth. She told Jon and I that she had one more gift to give us for Ansley before she arrived. This did not take us by surprise because she has given Ansley lots of gifts over the past nine months! I unwrapped the gift and was shocked to find a picture frame with Ansley's ultrasound picture beside another ultrasound picture....and on the bottom of the picture frame was the word "cousins" in silver letters!!! We were so surprised and thrilled! Baby Griffin, we love you so much! We cannot wait to meet you in October. We commit to praying for you, your mom and dad, and for a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery. We are so thankful that you and Ansley will only be 7 months apart. We are looking forward to family vacations and lots of fun times making memories together! Here we are the night before Ansley's birth after the big announcement...

Update on Ansley

I had a doctor's appointment today (Friday). I am now 40 weeks and 6 days! I am still measuring 3 cm., 75% effaced, and her head is at 0 station. Ansley is definitely teaching us patience. I am so thankful that I still feel wonderful and that she is healthy and doing well. I am still wanting things to progress naturally in hopes that we can avoid induction. So, we will continue to wait on her. The doctor will not let me go past 42 weeks due to the placenta aging. So, I do have an induction scheduled for Thursday, April 9 at 5:30 a.m. if she does not make an appearance before then. We hope to be announcing her birth very soon! Thank you all for your continued prayers and encouragement!
