October in Pictures

These past few weeks, we have kept busy spending time with family and friends and celebrating some very special occasions. I have also enjoyed sharing my favorite time of the year with my students at school. Some highlights of the month have included:
-Celebrating our close friend, Brandi's, 30th Birthday
-Celebrating Laurie and Dennis' Wedding
-Our Neighborhood Fall Festival (we took Josiah and Caleb who enjoyed decorating cupcakes)
-Live CD recording at our church
-Trick or Treating around our neighborhood with friends
-Fall crafts in my classroom
-Celebrating Red Ribbon/Drug Free Week with my students
-Discussing the election with my students and having them vote during Red Ribbon Week to "elect" to be drug free

Registry Fun!

This past weekend, Jon and I enjoyed registering for our sweet baby girl. On Saturday, we hit Babies R Us with Jon's sister, Rachel. We had lots of fun browsing though all the baby gear and picking our favorites. It was quite overwhelming but we think we were able to select some good items. On Sunday after church, Jon and I went to Target and registered for the remainder of the items on our list. As we walked the aisles, we were grinning from ear to ear with excitement as we anticipate the arrival of our sweet baby! We can't wait to put those tiny socks on her feet, warm hats on her head, and fun toys in her hands! We are in love already!
