Mother's Day Tribute To Ansley

Sweet Ansley,
Yesterday was an incredible day. Do you know why? I got to celebrate being your mother. I am Ansley Elise Mitchell's mom! For 32 days now, I have cared for you, cuddled you, loved on you, and called you my own. What an indescribable privilege. You are my delight. Ansley, from the moment I received my first Cabbage Patch doll, I have longed and desired to be a mother. I yearned to lovingly care for another, have someone depend on me, and provide the nurturing and training a child needed in order to become independent, successful, and impact the world. Up until April 9th, I truly believe a piece of my heart had been missing. Ansley Elise...my cup runneth over. Thank you for the privilege of being your mother. I have a lot to learn and a long way to go but know that I am committed to you. I thank God that he found in me someone fit to be your mother. Today I am grateful for my mother, my grandmothers, and the generations of women before us who have helped make me who I am today. As I type this and look into your sweet face I am again reminded that I could not ask for more...
